2. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Clare you agree to these Terms. If you use Clare on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
3. Service description
Clare retrieves and organises clinical guidance for informational use. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe.
4. Professional responsibility
You remain responsible for clinical decisions, verification of sources, and compliance with local policies, formularies, and guidelines.
5. Accounts and usage
Provide accurate registration details and keep credentials confidential.
No scraping, reverse engineering, or circumvention of access controls.
No unlawful, harmful, or patient-identifying content input.
6. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice where practical.
7. Intellectual property
We own the Clare platform and UI. Third-party content remains the property of its owners and is used under licence or permitted use. See Copyright & IP.
8. Payment (if applicable)
Fees, billing cycles, and taxes are described at checkout. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled per posted instructions.
9. Warranties and disclaimers
Clare is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties to the extent permitted by law.
10. Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim, unless prohibited by law.
11. Indemnity
You indemnify us for losses arising from your unlawful use or breach of these Terms.
12. Term and termination
We may suspend or terminate for breach, risk, or legal compliance. You may stop using the service at any time.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. Changes to Terms
We will post changes here with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes may be notified in-product or by email.
Clinical Safety & Medical Disclaimer
Clare is an informational tool, not a medical device, and is not a substitute for clinical judgment.
In emergencies follow local emergency protocols and contact emergency services.
Check local guidelines, formularies, and patient factors before acting.
Clare sources information from NICE Guidelines and CKS Database which are subject to regular updates.
Always verify information currency and applicability to your specific clinical context.
Privacy Policy (UK GDPR)
1. Controller
Contempo Studio is the data controller for personal data processed via Clare. Contact: support@clareai.app.
2. What we collect
Account data: name, email, role, organisation.
Service data: queries, feature interactions, timestamps, device info, IP-derived region.
Support data: messages and attachments you send us.
Patient data: Do not input identifiable patient data. If you do, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and ensuring minimisation.
3. Why we process (lawful bases)
Provide the service and account administration — contract.
Improve safety and performance (metrics, error logs) — legitimate interests.
Legal and regulatory compliance — legal obligation.
We use vetted processors to host, store, and analyse service data. We require contracts with confidentiality and security obligations. See Sub-processors.
5. International transfers
Where transfers outside the UK/EU occur, we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK IDTA or EU SCCs, plus technical and organisational measures.
6. Retention
Account data: for your account lifetime plus up to 12 months.
Log and analytics data: up to 12–24 months, aggregated thereafter.
Support tickets: up to 24 months after closure.
7. Your rights
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. You can withdraw consent at any time. To exercise rights, contact support@clareai.app.
8. Complaints
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We welcome the chance to resolve issues first.
9. Security
We apply least-privilege access, encryption in transit and at rest, audit logging, and regular vulnerability management. No method is 100% secure.
10. Children
Clare is for professional users aged 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes
We will update this policy as needed and indicate the effective date above.

Optional analytics to improve performance and reliability.
2. Choices

Essential cookies are strictly necessary. Non-essential cookies require consent under PECR/ePrivacy rules.

Acceptable Use
No unlawful, harmful, or discriminatory content.
No uploading of malicious code or attempts to degrade service.
No input of identifiable patient data unless you have a lawful basis and authority.
No sharing of credentials or circumvention of access controls.
No use for purposes other than professional clinical information retrieval.
